Suit Up Baby

I love this jacket so so much. I am trying to find as many ways as possible to wear it 1) because I paid way too much for it (even at sample sale price) 2) It is too dang cute to handle! It is Elisabetta Franchi which is a gorgeoussss designer who makes amazing outerwear that you can check out here but if you are like me and can't afford to shop like that all the time have no fear! I link lots of options for this look below because I am all about mixing high and low end...

For example, this jacket was hundreds, but this purse and earrings were thrifted for $1.99 and $5.99 respectively! This crop was on sale and I found a perfect dupe for $10 here and my belt is a scarf from H&M! Proof that you can look good on a budget even when you need to suit up ;)

A little Western Inspired

The only thing missing is my cowboy boots from this post! I love the combo of this skirt from Sweet Lily Boutique with my latest sample sale find - my fringe tee from The Kooples Sport. Perhaps as a function of the fact that it was bitter freezing when I was taking these pictures or because I totally planned this one out … ;) I threw on my super cozy Zara corduroy shirt + did you know they are in Denver?! I have mixed feelings….

PS! Happy almost Thanksgiving!

GG Marmont Velvet Medium Shoulder Bag Review

Ok I will admit it… I have an issue with designer handbags. I tried to explain to Jon’s parents one time and found myself calling them investments which honestly they more or less are, but that was quite the rationalization. In reality I love a good bag. You can catch me in Target shoes all day long, but please let my bag be a soft as this one?! I shared on my Instagram stories how I purchase my designer backs not full price. Would you all like a separate post on this?

My review: worth every penny. This bag is soft, sturdy and done to perfection! Only thing I don’t love is the heart on the bag - its a Gucci signature but is too girly for me. I was also surprised by how big this was on my while I carried it, but since I have nothing else this size in my collection I decided it had a home with me!
