The Updated Army Green

Army green is one of those colors that has always been considered "fashion forward" but honestly I have gotten tired of the same army green over and over and over. Enter this jacket and these shoes... fun, updated and army green. I am working with Zac Zac Posen to shoot some of their pre-fall items, but I need new blog content so I figured I would style the items in a way that can be worn year round (weather permitting of course)

I am smitten over the glitter detail on this jacket - it makes it so fun and special! I also think the shape is something I need more of in my closet. It is flowy but in all the right places. I paired it with skinny jeans, a simple tank and my new thrift store shoe find (ok they are still J-Crew).

Patterns and Pops

FINALLY! I get to share these BEAUTIFUL pictures from a couple weeks ago. I was lucky enough to be asked by one of my favorite online boutiques Patterns and Pops to join other Denver bloggers and launch their fashion truck! It is the cutest damn thing on wheels and it just makes you smile seeing it drive by. Not to mention the clothes inside are SO cute too! My outfit is from Patterns and Pop with Apricot Lane accessories. Extra bonus: that day we got glammed by the amazing Matthew Morris Salon in Denver!

ALSO! Denver Style Magazine was on set covering the photoshoot and even interviewed us. It was my first photoshoot and interview for pure blogging and I couldn't be happier with it. I can't wait to do more thing like this and am so grateful I have a blog and a space where I can be part of things like this! Of course all thanks to you guys!

Colorado Girl

Sometimes I forget two things: 1) I am a still a teenager and 2) I am a Colorado girl. What does this mean you ask? Well growing up I always wanted to live in New York City but I was stuck in Colorado. Mountains, open fields and zero (I mean zero) sense of big city style. I always stepped out of that box and began to dress more mature based of what I saw on other bloggers and people I looked up to (most of whom are at least 30) wearing. So along the way my style developed and I lost that teenager shorts and tank top vibe. Today I grabbed my new favorite Sheinside top and felt like a kid again. I channeled some Colorado cowgirl vibes with the boots and cutoffs. It was so much fun to just dress like a teenager and I am glad you guys get to see this side of me too! Thank you Sheinside for sponsoring this post and letting me show my hometown style with this fabulous top!
