Blue Eyeshadow Look for Brown Eyes

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Almay and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own

Hi guys! Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to College Fashion Week put on by Her Campus with Almay! They launched some amazing new products and I had so much fun playing with the Shadow Squad™ Eyeshadow Holographic in the shade Pegasus. I also played with the new Goddess Gloss™ in the shades Fairy and Halo! I hope you guys get a change to recreate this look! You can shop all the products mentioned here.

Step 1:

Since it is such a bold eye look I wanted to do my shadow before any face makeup. I started with an eye primer then took my Shadow Squad™ Eyeshadow Holographic in the shade Pegasus and patted it all over my lid. This shadow is extremely pigmented but also so easy to blend!

Take a fluffy brush and make sure to fluff it all out in the crease!

Step 2:

I applied foundation, concealer and some powder onto my face! Now I am ready to highlight and for this I am using the Instant Glow Highlighter Duo. I like the fact that it is a cream and liquid so I am apply it before and after setting powder! I blend it in with a brush!

Step 3:

Time to line and apply mascara! I used the e Almay Liquid  Eyeliner and the  Almay Multi-Benefit Mascara. Finally before applying mascara to my bottom lashes I add some more shadow with a small brush under my waterline! This really ties the whole look together.

Step 4:

After spraying some setting spray I am ready for lipgloss. Like I mentioned above I used the new Goddess Gloss™ in the shade Fairy and then topped it with Halo! And that is the final look

Valentine's Day Bold Lip Makeup Look

Last week I showed you guys my favorite way to contour using Maybelline products from Walmart, and this week I have another fun makeup tutorial. My favorite (seriously absolute favorite) makeup trend is a bold lip, and Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to break out a killer pink lip. My go to lip right now is my Maybelline Color Sensational LipColor in 675 Faint For Fuchsia so I created a eye look that complements it perfectly using The Rock Nudes Pallette, Unstoppable Liner and The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara.

To create the eye look I started by lining my lids with Maybelline's Unstoppable Liner in brown because I find this really creates the best "smoked out" look. Then using my The Rock Nudes palette I created the look below. I started with a light brown shade all over my lid and then darkened it up with a more purple toned shadow. To finish it off and make it flirty for Valentine's Day I wet my brush and patted a shimmery pink/silver toned shadow on top of my lid.

The final step in any eye look is a great mascara and I love this one because it gives me the effect of fake lashes with none of the effort! Then finally apply a bold lipstick. This Maybelline Color Sensational LipColor is the most festive, kissable lip I have ever worn and I can't wait to take it out on the down for Valentine's Day!

Natural Contouring Tutorial

This blog has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MNYLooksToLove #CollectiveBias

Valentine's day is all about celebrating love, and this year I plan of spending day making memories with my boyfriend and best friends! One thing that I have found a new love for recently is contouring. The only problem is sometimes it can be a bit difficult to figure out and I end up looking really unnatural. Thankfully the Maybelline Master Contour Palette has swooped in to save me! I created a natural Valentine's day look for you all with the perfect bronzer, blush and highlight below and the best part? It is so easy to recreate!

The first key to the perfect contour is a great base. I have fallen head over heels for Maybelline's new Dream Velvet Foundation because it is the perfect starting point to layer product on top thanks to it's creamy matte finish. To apply it I use the Dream Velvet Blender to get even and flawless coverage.

After I have my base layed I grab my Master Contour Palette and get to work! I use the the shade medium to deep to really get that shading I want on my face and the perfect highlight for my skin tone.

Apply some mascara and a nude lip and that's it! You are ready for the perfect Valentine's day with your contour natural and glowy! You can find all the products I mentioned at your local Walmart in a special tower display in stores now! Do you guys have any V-Day plans?

NYE Makeup Tutorial

Every year at the end of the night my New Year's makeup is smudged and disheveled... so this year I made it my goal to create an easy look that will last all day and night! I headed to Walmart to pick up my must have NEUTROGENA products for the perfect NYE look

For the eyes I am using the NEUTROGENA Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer in the shade Cocoa Mauve to create a subtle smokey eye. This shadow won't crease and provides up to 12 hours of wear which is why it is my go-to this year. I used the first shade all over my lid and then defined the crease with the third and fourth shades. The lightest color is the perfect highlight under my brow-bone and in my inner corner.

For blush I reached for the NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN Blushes which gave me a natural glow thanks to the botanical conditioners enriched in this product. I love using this blush to define my cheekbones and really make them pop. The final step is a yummy lip which I created using the NEUTROGENA MoistureSmooth Color Sticks. Mango and Shea butter condition my lips making them kissable at midnight.

That's it! So easy, but it will last me all night! What are you guy's favorite NEUTROGENA products?
